Taiwan's HTC has unveiled two smartphone models, the Windows Phone 8X and the Windows Phone 8S, running Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 software. Available in California Blue, Graphite Black, Flame Red, Limelight Yellow (pictured) for the 8X and Domino Black-White, Fiesta Red, Atlantic Blue and High-Rise Grey-Yellow for the 8S.

The 8X features a 4.3-inch S-LCD 2 display with a 720p resolution, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 8-megapixel camera with a BSI sensor, a 88-degree lens for wide shots and a f/2.0 aperture.
The 8S features a SuperLCD display (not as vibrant and crisp) on gorilla glass, 4 inch screen with WVGA screen resolution, 4GB inbuilt memory, Qualcomm 1GHZ dual-core processor and 5MP camera.
